<p><strong>Location:</strong> Nis, Serbia<br /><strong>Employment type:</strong> Full-time</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced and motivated <strong>Tax &amp; Legal Advisor</strong> to join our dynamic team in Nis. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive tax and legal advisory services, ensuring full compliance with local regulations while supporting international clients on a wide range of corporate, tax, and legal matters.</p> <hr /><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul><li>Provide expert legal and tax advice on corporate, commercial, employment, and immigration matters.</li> <li>Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including corporate agreements, memos, and contracts.</li> <li>Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax compliance process.</li> <li>Prepare tax advisory reports, due diligence reports, tax reorganizations, transfer pricing documentation, and assist in obtaining tax rulings.</li> <li>Liaise independently with clients, government, and tax authorities to ensure timely completion of assignments.</li> <li>Monitor company compliance and update internal policies and procedures as required.</li> <li>Engage in cross-department collaboration and support business development initiatives, including preparation of proposals and presentations.</li> <li>Stay up to date with legal and tax developments affecting local and international business operations.</li> </ul><hr /><h3><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements</strong></h3> <ul><li>University degree in <strong>Law or Economics</strong></li> <li>Minimum <strong>4 years of relevant experience</strong> in tax and/or legal advisory, preferably in an international or corporate environment.</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of <strong>Serbian tax law</strong> and familiarity with <strong>Serbian corporate and commercial law</strong>.</li> <li>Proven ability to work with multinational clients and manage complex cases independently.</li> <li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail.</li> <li>Fluency in <strong>English</strong> is required; knowledge of <strong>Greek</strong> or <strong>Ukrainian</strong> will be considered an advantage.</li> <li>Proficiency in <strong>MS Office</strong> (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy.</li> <li>Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Experience with <strong>immigration</strong> and <strong>GDPR compliance</strong> will be considered an asset.</li> </ul><p>Send application via email: cdamianou@groupcypress.eu</p>
